In the center of Hamburg, the discovery of an unexploded bomb from the Second World War not only leads to a far-reaching evacuation, but also to an interpersonal state of emergency.

Mike Douglas (Barry Sullivan), owner of a nitroglycerin concern hires his old friend "Buzz" Mitchell (Chester Morris), a race-driver of midget-auto cars who has been banned from racing, to go to work hauling nitro. "Buzz" makes a play for Connie Baker (Jean Parker), Mike's secretary and girlfriend, and also for Doris Lynch (Barbara Lynn), fiancée of Connie's younger brother, Jimmy ('Rand Brooks'), and gets Jimmy to replace him on a dangerous nitro haul and Jimmy, of course, has an accident and gets killed. Felix walks from court after key witness Natalia Sokolowa, whose skin Heldt saved, fails to testify. Heldt gets Bannenberg to help find out what hold Felix has on her, guessing rightly it's a child.

Sports commentary with a comedic twist starring Dan LeBatard, his father Gonzalo, and sportswriter Bomani Jones. They satirize video clips from all sports and interview an eclectic mix of athletes, rappers and celebs. Gonzalo is the unintended star with his affinity for rap music and his old Cuban-man pronunciations of names and terms. Contrasted with Dan's witty opinions and Bomani's smooth erudition, Gonzalo has a great time poking fun at and holding his own with all the stars.

When he discovers his guardian is dying, an autistic twenty-something travels across country to bring back a deluded, has-been country singer, believing that a personal performance will inspire his guardian to live.
